We know that discovering that someone in your home has head lice can be very troubling indeed, so our LoveBugs® Salons are here to service you as quickly, painlessly, and efficiently as possible.At our private, garden-like Salon nestled just above Mt. Diablo Blvd. in Downtown Lafayette or in Los Altos, LoveBugs® will discretely take care of your lice problem with the LoveBugs® non-toxic, lice removal technique and special formula that was invented in Greece over 40 years ago. LoveBugs® will manually remove the live lice and the nits (eggs) from the hair and scalp.
The products used at the LoveBugs® Salon are non-toxic, 100% vegetarian, 100% natural, never tested on animals and organic (see quote below). LoveBugs® does not use harsh chemicals or pesticides because there are risks associated with exposing yourself and/or your child to harmful chemicals and there is strong circumstantial evidence that head lice are becoming increasingly resistant to commercially available chemical treatments. Once a nit is laid, it takes 7-10 days for a nit to hatch and another 7-10 days for the female to mature and begin laying her own eggs. 99% of the time, children are accepted back into school the day after their first appointment at The LoveBugs® Salon.
